Refunds and Cancellations
How refunds and cancellations work for YaH Brands services. This page sums up our Terms of Service. If the two ever differ, the Terms of Service apply.
Last updated: October 23, 2026
The short version
- Cancel before we start work on a service and we refund what you paid for it.
- Once we start work on a service, the fee for that work is earned and is not refunded, except as described below.
- If we make a mistake, we fix it at no charge.
- Government and other third-party fees we collect but don't spend are refunded.
- You can cancel a recurring service at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- A $29 refund fee comes out of each refund, unless the refund is because of us.
When you can get a refund
- Before work starts: if you cancel a service before we begin work on it, we refund what you paid for that service, minus the refund fee and any government or third-party cost we already paid for you.
- Unused third-party costs: if a government or other third-party cost turns out lower than what we collected, or a filing is never submitted, we refund the unused amount.
- Charges made in error: a duplicate or incorrect charge is refunded in full.
- Work we don't deliver: if we can't deliver a service you paid for, we refund the undelivered part in full.
When a refund isn't available
- After work on a service has started or been delivered.
- When a government agency, bank, payment processor, credit bureau, or other provider turns down a filing, application, or account for reasons that aren't our error. They make those decisions, not us.
- For government and third-party fees already paid on your behalf.
- For a proof, design, or website you approved, a logo you started using, or a website you launched.
- When a service counts as complete because we didn't hear back from you. If we need something from you and get no answer, we send at least two reminders, and 90 days after our first request the service counts as complete.
- For the current billing period of a recurring service you cancel.
If we make a mistake
We fix our own errors at no extra charge for our service. For example, if a filing is rejected because of an error we made, we correct it and file it again. If a printed or digital item doesn’t match the proof you approved because of our mistake, we redo it. The Terms of Service list the fix for each service.
Cancelling a recurring service
- Recurring services renew automatically until you cancel. We send the renewal invoice to your billing email before each renewal.
- To cancel, email us before the renewal date. The service stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and it doesn't renew.
- Cancelling doesn't refund the current billing period.
- Cancelling a service doesn't end your own obligations to a government agency. For example, if you cancel registered agent service, you need to appoint a new registered agent with the state.
Printed items and shipping
Most of our work is delivered online, through the client portal or by email. Printed items, such as business cards and Google Review Cards, are made to order from the proof you approve, so they can’t be returned or exchanged.
- If a printed item arrives damaged or defective, or doesn't match your approved proof because of our mistake, tell us soon after it arrives and send photos. We reprint and reship it at no charge.
- Errors that were in a proof you approved aren't defects. Fixing them is a new order.
- Small color differences between a screen proof and the printed item are normal and aren't defects.
- Printed items ship to the address you give us. Delivery times are set by the carrier, and we help you file a claim with the carrier if something is lost or damaged in transit.
The refund fee
A refund fee of $29 is taken out of each refund to cover payment processing and handling costs. It’s never more than the refund itself.
We don’t charge the refund fee when the refund is because of us:
- an error we made,
- a service we didn't deliver,
- a duplicate or incorrect charge, or
- a government or third-party cost that came in lower than what we collected.
Credit Wallet
- Money you add to your Credit Wallet in the client portal pays for YaH Brands invoices. It doesn't expire.
- When you close your account, we refund any money you added that hasn't been used, if you ask. The refund fee applies.
- Credits we give you as a courtesy or promotion have no cash value, can't be refunded, and expire 12 months after we give them unless we say otherwise.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. If that isn’t possible, for example because the card was closed, we refund to your Credit Wallet or another way we agree on with you. All charges and refunds are in U.S. dollars. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Questions about a charge
If something about a charge doesn’t look right, please contact us first. We’ll look into it and fix any billing error.
Disputing a charge with your bank for work we did or are doing can pause your services and client portal access until it’s resolved, and ownership of that work stays with us until it’s paid for. A good-faith dispute over a real billing error is always fine.
